Allana was picked to be a part of Australia at Rugby Sevens 2013, but subsequent knee injuries kept her out of the game. It took several years to Allana to re-enter rugby league. Allana played with distinction at the helm of New South Wales during her debut women's Rugby League game against Queensland in 2015, a game she also played in 2015. Allana has also been a regular radio host, and is regularly on 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana also holds a teaching diploma.
